Tree & Shrub Care Health; why is it important?
There are various kinds of terminology used for describing plant life and one of the terms often used is ‘deciduous’. Maybe you have heard this word before but didn’t know the meaning. Deciduous means that trees and shrubs lose their leaves at a specific part of the season, for example, Fall. When the leaves have gracefully fallen and old man winter starts to creep in is generally the best time of the year to prune and assess your deciduous shrubs and trees. We try to encourage homeowners to be proactive with caring for their plants as it leads to vibrant health and vitality for the upcoming season. Believe it or not, proper pruning from an educated and skilled professional can significantly reduce the chances of your beautiful plant life getting various kinds of diseases or funguses. And proactive pruning can help eliminate the use of chemicals normally used to get rid of unwanted pests and disease.
Keep in mind that some shrubs have new foliage that grow on new stem growth and struggle to thrive if there is too much old growth in the mix, therefore, causing all kinds of potential issues.
