The Most Dangerous Creature on Earth

The Most Dangerous Creature on Earth

Believe it or not, mosquitoes and the diseases they spread have been responsible for killing more people than all the wars in history.  The Midwest has one of the highest rates of mosquito-borne diseases nationwide.

Last year, the State of Illinois was ranked 6th among states with the most mosquito-related illnesses, according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.  In June of 2018, Rockford received over 14-inches of rain, creating the perfect storm for mosquito breeding.  Seventeen counties in Illinois reported West Nile Virus activity in people, birds or mosquitoes.  A mosquito bite can transmit heart disease to pets, as well.

2019 is expected to be one of the six hottest years on record in the United States.  Temperatures and dampness are two factors that have a massive effect on the mosquitoes’ survival and ability to reproduce.

Our staff can provide an evaluation of your property, whether residential or commercial and create a plan to deter the most dangerous creature on earth.  Each program is unique, depending on the property and location.  Once a plan is in place, we will take care of the rest, with regularly scheduled visits throughout the remaining season.

Your outdoor living space was designed to be enjoyed.  Let our skilled, courteous staff customize a plan to prevent mosquitoes from spoiling your summer activities, so that you can focus your attention elsewhere.

A Few Tips on Reducing Mosquito Populations:
Change the water in birdbaths at least once a week.
Refresh your pet’s water bowl, daily.
Store boats covered or upside down.
Eliminate ALL standing water on your property: tires, buckets, rain barrels, trash containers, etc.
