Ornamental Value
Pachysandra, also commonly known as Japanese Spurge is a widely used, timeless groundcover that is suited to many landscape themes. A dense, evergreen groundcover, Pachysandra thrives in shady or dappled shade sites where given time it will carpet the ground transforming a tired site to a lush one. We highly recommend considering this groundcover as an alternative to turf or mulch in those tough to grow shady locations. Once established you won’t have to fight this durable plant to stay alive as you would turf grasses and you won’t be constantly replenishing mulch. As an added bonus Pachysandra becomes covered in fragrant, white bottlebrush flowers in April.
Landscape Uses
Any shady locations a dense groundcover is desired, as a turf alternative, along sloped areas, and under trees.
