Commercial Girl Scout members earned their Gardener's Badge

Girl Scout members earned their Gardener's Badge Girl Scout members from St. Rita Catholic School of Rockford earned their Gardener’s Badge with the help of LawnCare by Walter. The girls learned about landscape design and the proper placement of plants and flowers in a garden based on sun exposure. The girls planted perennial and annual flower seeds in egg cartons which they took home along with care instructions. Spring has sprung!

Summer Sizzle 2024
LCbW cooked up a feast on August 21, 2024, to celebrate this year’s Summer Sizzle. Tunes from The Bull 95.3 FM played while guests tossed bean bags and children bounced in an air-inflated house. Many took home prizes from the event’s raffle.
