Residential Shrubs Landscape Design Flowers
These avid gardeners enjoy working in their beautiful backyard garden, but wanted a little guidance when it came to renovating their outdated front foundation landscaping. The Yews were showing massive bare spots and the Junipers were overgrown and tired. In addition, the front lacked a much-desired pop of color. The owners wanted a new look with out looking too "new" so mature-sized Boxwood were planted to appear to have existed in the front for some time. The side bed was expanded to allow for a new flagstone pathway that would be installed by others. An Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry added scale and interest that could be enjoyed from indoors. The maroon colored Coralbells created balance and unity with the specimen Japanese Maple. Finally, a mix of colorful shrubs and perennials completed the space. To extend curb appeal of this space, low voltage lighting was added to highlight the home as well as the two specimen trees.
