Ornamental value: Chicago Lustre^®, a specific named cultivar of the native arrowwood viburnum, is known for adding delightful beauty to a landscape every season. Its dark green foliage nicely contrasts with the cream-colored flower clusters it sprouts every June. In late summer, the flowers are usually followed by an abundance of shiny bluish black clusters that birds can't resist. In the fall, arrowwood viburnum's leaf color changes to a beautiful golden yellow hue before it becomes orangish red and eventually burgundy in early winter.

Arrowwood viburnum attracts wildlife and pollinators. It is great for commercial sites, gardens, or in naturalized areas that don't get a lot of foot traffic. It can be used as a way to shade your yard and offers a lot of privacy.
