Ornamental value and landscape use: The clustered mountain mint is a native plant that works wonderfully in natural garden spaces. Unlike others in the mint family, the clustered mountain mint does not dominate its neighboring flowers and can grow alongside other perennials. Its aromatic foliage and white flower clusters are very attractive; and the silver green foliage contrasts well with other garden plants. Clustered mountain mint is a great pollinator in the late summer and early fall, attracting butterflies and bees. It looks great along sunny woodland edges and in meadow gardens and moon gardens. Be sure to prune it annually.
