If you’re looking for a shade loving perennial to brighten your garden that is easy to grow then Deutschland Astilbe is for you. Blooming in summer the delicate yet showy white, feathery plumes contrast nicely against the dark green glossy foliage. As the season moves towards fall the white flowers fade gracefully to a pleasant dried flower. With adequate moisture the fern like foliage will look great all season long. Astilbes prefer fertile, moist growing conditions and pair nicely with Ferns, Azalea, and Hosta. They are also deer and rabbit resistant.
